What's up Houston!!! Well, let me be the first to tell you that you will get different answers on this one. Some wobble seems to be normal and expected. The wobble on mine I thought was too much and had it replaced. I have heard of some losing the pulley and damaging some engine components in the process and did not want that to happen with mine. Having the dealer put on a new one was my first option, but after getting the quote I figured I'd check around. (labor on that is unbelievable) Called MTI there in Houston and the underdrive pulley and installation was about half what the dealer quoted me!! So, I went that route instead and now, no wobble and peace of mind!!

Be careful, and keep an eye on it. If you start having belt problems, like it coming off the tensioner, then that means the pulley is starting to back its way off. That happened to me. I had to replace the bolt, and really torque it down. All has been good since.

Mine worked its way forward a year after cam install. Must not have been torqued properly. Cost me $700 to have the dealer install a new one!
