Default Power seat Help. Wire off

We have a early 97 C5. It has the stock power seats. Both are power.
One day the drivers side somehow got tilted too far back and it would not correct so we took it off to find 2wires pulled out. See attached picture. For the life of me we cannot find where they go.

I ended up just purchasing 2 seats off ebay but they are slightly different. I am guessing they are from a different year. The motors are different and the wire is not found on the ebay seats. But if you look at our original seats.....pass or driver...they ahve the same motor and wiring setup as the ebay pass seat...but the driver seat is quite different. Oddly enough the broken wire on our drivers original seat...is the only one that has that wire. It has a connector that comes out of the main harness...that leads to the pulled out wires.

Anyone have any idea where these wires go? Also is there any rail adjustments that can be made? The seats we got off ebay...move forward toward the wheel way more then our others did...but it does nto go back far enough for my tallness...the originals didnt have the problem. Im kinda stumped here =(

Link doesn't work...

I took my power seat out a few years ago in my 02 Z06, but only remember there being a simple plug to hook the wire to the seat.

Your link does not work. I replaced my 97 power seat with a set of 02 power seats. I seem to remember the drivers just plugged in and it worked. I had to manufacture a harness from the passengers.
If you car has memory, you'll plug in both plugs. If not, then only the black one is used.
As far as the leg room or space, I went from base seats to sport seats and found the same thing. I'm average height, so it didn't make a difference.

Got it!! Man that sucks!! They are both black!!! Try this! Where do they come from? I will try some reverse engineering. Take a picture of the plug, module or component that the wires go to and send it to me.
