Does Anyone Know....
Cam lift, duration, lobe sepatation angle effect lots of things besides HP. Is your car a daily driver? Do you have to pass any smog tests? Are you willing to have a choppy idle. Do you want a smooth "sleeper" idle? There are different cams for ever possible combination!
Try looking at some of the car magazines for basic info, for example, the Dec 2004 issue of CARCRAFT has many specs for the Gen III engines. LS6 info:
comp ratio = 10.46
chamber vol = 65 cc's
int port vol = 210 cc's
ex port vol = 75 cc's
The July 2004 issue of Corvette Fever has some flow comparisons for the LS1 vs AFR heads.
There was a cam comparison in a stock LS1 done by Popular Hot Rodding, not sure when, but it was probably late 2003 or early 2004.
You might also try looking at some of the cam manufacturer sites (like Compcams.com) or tuners like MTI or Lingenfelter for their advice.
Check out the link below for the cam specs. Can't help much with what the heads flow though.

Check out the rest of the article and the first one (link below) that covered the LS6 when it first arrived on the scene.
