Another Happy Borla customer here
Today I installed a bunch of crap in my car! I've been waiting for quite a while for the roads to clean up to drive my car to the garage and today was the day. I installed: Borla stinger 4 tip oval exhaust, Hurst short throw shifter, Short antenna, new style headlight bezels, and the skip shift eliminator. I had planned to drain and fill the transmission, but I didn't feel like it after all that. The borla sounds great! A little louder than I thought it would be, but it really sounds like a muscle car now! It took probably ten minutes to get the old exhaust off and the borla on, but another 15 or so to align the tips so they were straight. The shifter went in without a hitch - it really helps to have an electric impact 3/8" for all of those 10mm nuts to remove. It literally took 15 minutes to install the shifter with all of my tools right there. Interestingly, I can say that I really do feel a difference in power with the exhaust on there - per my butt-o-meter.
So, for anyone wondering how much trouble it is to install the hurst shifter and borla exhaust - from me I say it's very easy and hardly time consuming.
