Vert Coupe or FRC whats your pleasure!!!
When I bought my C-5 vert I never considered any of the varibles, is the weather nice enough to enjoy it, road noise, color of the top, it was just a great looking car in my price range and excitement to own a convertible out wayed all!! what are your factors for buying the car you have right now, did you pick your color and options year ect.......
I'm sure this poll has been out before I just became a C-5 owner and vert all in one swoop, just a little curiosity?????

Well, I had a '98 Pace Car vert, and I loved it. I traded it in for my Z06 because I like the looks of the FRC better, I like the upgraded performance, and I like the upgraded handling. I traded my vert because I rarely had the top down, it leaked, the black fabric was starting to fade, and I would always worry about somebody slicing the top. Don't get me wrong, I love the vert, but I feel the Z06 is more for me.

When I bought my car - the only thing I knew was that it had to be black and an MN6. I thought I wanted a coupe, until I found my car listed on Vette Net. I wasn't sure I'd drop the top that much living in a place where afternoon temps can top 110 degrees.
Boy was I ever wrong! Whenever I drive the car - the top is down about 95% of the time - I've driven top down with temps in the low 40's and in the 110 range, and loved every minute of it! Ya' just gotta dress accordingly......I'll leave that to your imagination!

I wanted an FRC but they didn't come with the options I wanted so I bought the Vert. It's the best comprimise I have ever made.

In 2001 I bought a MagRed Coupe, but always wanted a Vert. So when the 04s were going for 10-12K under window I got the Vert. Although I really did like the MR coupe I would not go back.
