[Z06] Royal Purple Syncromax to the rescue!!

Royal Purple Syncromax to the rescue!!
I really hated the way this car shifted. After I bought it, I thought to myself, "what the hell did I do?" I bought a beautiful car with a truck transmission. One of the main reasons I sold my modded 30000GT VR4 was to get a car that shifted smoothly. I was more than willing to give up 200 HP to have a smoother shifting car.
Anyway, a few weeks ago I filled the trans up with RP Syncromax, and I'm happy to say that the difference was substantial!!.
At first, it wasn't that noticeable. But after a couple of days, it's like a different transmission. Shifting effort has been reduced a good 35% at least. it's almost hard to believe. I hope more of you guys give it a try.

Thanks for the review. I've been trying to decide which brand to use in mine.
Read quite a few good reports on the RP Synchromax, I might just have to give it a try.

What is the difference between Royal Purple and Red Line. Is one better than the other??

I changed over to Red Line D4-ATF over 30k miles ago. I would have to say that the shifting improvement is only marginal over the factory fill Dexron mineral oil including cold weather performance. I too would like to hear if the RP is better than the Red Line.

Give that Royal Purple Syncromax a try, you will notice a change in your transmission, I'm no RP salesman, it's just that this stuff does makes a difference.
