[Z06] Crane Quick Lift Roller Rockers?

Crane Quick Lift Roller Rockers?
This is the website information: LS1 Aluminum Roller Rockers "Quick-Lift™" design delivers up to 20 HP! "Quiet-Design" does not trip knock-sensor. Fits under stock rocker covers. An easy bolt-on that’s good for 15-20 horsepower gain in LS1/LS6 engines.
Anybody out there using these? Sounds simple, but I'm wondering if there are any valve spring issues with the LS6??? Might obviate the immediate need to replace the cam.

Typically you'll need to replace the valve springs to avoid coil binding if you increase the ratio (1.7 to 1.8). If you stay with the stock ratio (1.7) I don't think you will gain more than a couple of ponies from the quick lift design. I installed the Crane Gold Race 1.8s along with dual springs and felt a very decent gain in the responsiveness and mid pull of my engine, never dynoed it to find out the exact gains.

I had the same rockers (and new springs) professionally installed on my Z06, which at the time had a few bolt-on's. Dyno was done before and after, same day. Picked up a very few (2-3) HP on the high end, lost about the same amount of TQ on the bottom end. IMO putting the 1.8 rockers on these cars with no other changes is not a worthwhile mod.
Other opinions will vary.

I just installed them and I am having it redynoed the 28th of August. My baseline is SAE 424.5rwhp /SAE 403lb./ft. The gains I have seen are 10rwhp, but we will see.
