I'm running GY GS-D3 275/40-17 fronts and 295/35-18 rears with no clearance problems at all. They look great on the car, handle well and fit the wheel wells just fine.

I skip a lot of this thread, but I got enough. I have these too on my car. There is a guy here in LI.NY who is a distributor and I pick up these tires a few months back. I have had the OME's -they stink. Had Mich. PS2 - great tire. cost too much. Toyo's proxy's good, but not great. These tires hook great, conner fantastic, handle rain excellent and all 4 can be bought for under $800.
What else do you need to say? Oh, I know..wish they came in 305/315 sizes!
I only have about 2g's on mine so far, but they still look as if I just bought them!
Here is a link about these tires (& photo of rears on my car) I made back in JUly...

The set I just replaced went about 16,000 miles and had
3/32 left on the rears (295/35/18), and 6/32 on the fronts (275/40/17).
That 16,000 miles includes quite a few mountain "cruises", and
four passes at the drag strip. Oh, and 25 laps at Atlanta Motor Speedway
for the Corvettes Against Breast Cancer.
I decided to try the Toyo T1R's, but not sure that was a good move.
Time will tell.

guys another newbie question, looks like all they offer for the front is a 275-40-17 instead of the factory 265 front tires......whats your opinion on that?, looks like there about 3/8" taller an a tad wider,,,
hieght is what concerns me....what happens if you do the 305 in the back??? dam buying tires is PITA!!
I really wanted to stick the stock sizes back on the car, and dont want the front to not fit right or hang out of the wheel wells anymore than it does now.

I have a set of these in 275/40/17 and 295/35/18. They fit perfectly, handle and wear great. An excellent alternative to the stock tires. The are a lot safer should you ever find yourself driving in the rain. The stock tires are plain dangerous on wet roads.

Call the Garage in Cal, 818-340-9444. His prices were better than anyones and so was shipping, and he ships the tires in boxes if you ask so they arrive nice, lots of people ship them loose.
he did a set for $748 plus shipping, seems like a heck of a deal to me considering there a good tire.

Everyone says where they bought their tires but no one states how much they paid. Here are a couple of quotes, but I would appreciate it if someone would let me know if they found them at a better price and what the price was!!
Performance plus: $214 plus shipping/each
Delticom: $223.40 plus shipping/each
These are for rears only 295/35 zr-18
