Curious as to what the average head/cam install without tune runs. What have you guys paid?

around 1k-1200......plus add in a good dyno tune.....

Prices here locally seem to be a bit higher (as just about everything else around here) than other places around the country. When looking around to have my heads and cam installed I was quoted $1250, $1700,
and something above $2k (can't remember the exact number). These are all well known shops around the Bay Area. I already had long tubes on my car which seemed to increase the price a bit.

These prices were for:
Heads, cam, FAST intake, LS2 throttle body, injectors, underdrive pulley, ported oil pump and a few other misc. items.

Guess I'm lucky here.............local "corvette guy" that works for a dealer quoted me on his own time he would charge $600-$700
