Removing front emblem?
Aloha,
Since I can't get the search function to work I came to the experts. My front nose emblem is trashed and I have a new one to put on. How do I go about removing the old one?
Many thanks in advance..

It's installed by GM with double sided tape and two alignment pins.
Use sunlight or applied heat to soften the adhesive and dental floss or thin fishing line to saw cut. Rub off any adhesive left on the surface with your fingers...blisters will heal in about a week.
Clean with denatured alcohol. Apply new emblem. Aloha.

Use a hair dryer to soften the tape and then take a piece of fishing line and saw through the tape. There are two pins that go into the front fasica, so you'll have to work around them.

you don't need to heat the emblem.
also use goof-off to remove the adhesive.
