Not sure about how it is for cleaning windows, but when you get all greasy from working on your ride, pour a can of Coke into your washing machine with the normal soap. Works wonders on getting grease out of clothes.

meldog,

Did you use a cleaner with this cloth? I am under the impression that you are not supposed to.

You are correct....not cleaners...just some water.

No, I used it on my Cobalt and I have never used RainX . When the ice outside melts, I'll try again. This time I'll clean and wipe them down with alcohol first. Thanks

Yep, the inside window of any car is a PITA to clean. This is a 99 FRC and the rear window is really hard to reach. I've had a back surgery and bending is somewhat difficult for me. I did use the cloth from your company and , as you said, at night when headlights hit the windshield, I saw nothing but streaks. I did wet them fires and wrung out all of the water before using. Maybe I should have cleaned them before I used your product. It's about 15 outside so I'll try again when it is someday warmer.

Any chance you used the cloth on a window with RainX on it?

That will cause this problem as the cloth sucks up all the silicone left from the Rain X and then smears it.

Let me know,

Jim

I've been using Micro Fiber towels for a couple of years now. They work great on the body and wheels. I haven't used them on the windows so I cannot comment on that.
But I learned years ago from an Old car guy that Vineger& water leaves no streaks like most glass cleaners, and an old newspaper works much better than a paper towel.

Did you know you can use those white paper filters for your coffee pot and they don't leave any lint or anything? They work about as well or better than anything I've tried for keeping windows looking great!

You are right, bout the size of a paper towel.

What makes is so cool is that you do not need any spray or cleaner to do the windows. Just a damp ultimate cloth and wipe....It will clean any hard surface (glass, stainless, granite, etc.....) streak free. Very easy way to clean the windows (or anything else for that matter). Works great on exhaust tips also.

Towel is washable and will last 5 years.....

See ya,

Jim
