My Z06 off to the new owner! Pics! Sadness!
Well, I'm excited to try a convertible, but the Z was an amazing ride - with the mix of the modifications I had and the **awesome** color, it turned heads everywhere.
Here's a few pics as a send off:
And one with the small fry since she won't even remember this ride (plus she's so darn cute):

Now you got me all choked up. :
Two weeks ago, I sold a car that I owned for over 11 years. Mod'd the heck out of it. Achieved near perfection. Someone walked up and offered my more money than it was worth. Knees buckled. I caved.
But all is right with the world with my new-to-me Z06.

what kind, and size of wheels were they?
tires?
always sad to see a car go, but of the 50+ cars I've owned, the only one I miss is the 70 GTO conv with a 455 SD....

Hahaha, ummm, OK....
I regret every car I sell because I always put alot of effort into making it something unique and special - but I have some great pics, some fantastic memories and it's going to a really super new owner!
Those are IForged Aero's, 18x10, 19x11 running 265/35's and 305/30's (which is almost a perfect OEM front-to-rear ratio). Black gloss centers with chromed lips.
I hear you on the GTO, I'd like one of those right now!
Right here on the Corvette Forum! (He's in the Southeast)
Absolutely - see above If I would've hit the lottery last week I would have kept it for sure. Thanks!
I figure I've never owned a Vert so it will be something totally new, yet still familiar! I don't think I'd ever leave the "Vette Family". The Wifey had a Z3 and later a 325Ci and we always really enjoyed a little open air cruising on the weekends. In Florida there are so many great opps to really use a convertible, even in the winter.

Nice car. Nice to see one so tastefully done. Like the ZO6 emblem on the back. Have often wondered why GM did not do that.
Know how you feel, I am putting my ZR-1 up for sale pretty soon. Had it for 10 years. But I'll be fine with the ZO6; Am getting to the age where one car is enough.
I'd love to see your comments after you adjust to the convertible.

Hahaha, the neighbor said "dude you look ill, give me a thumbs up".
The hair was semi-packed under the beanie
Sending you a PM too!
