Default Best Shift **** for B+M shifter

I have the B+M shifter in my 01 Z, it had the stock **** on it when I bought it. I put a billet **** from WCC on it, that uses a plastic collar that slides over the shaft, then the **** tightens onto the plastic collar via 3 small allen bolts. This **** is TERRIBLE!!! It started getting sloppy after 1 week. Now it rocks back and forth on the collar.

Does anyone have a good recomendation for a THREAD ON **** to fit my B+M shifter? I dont even care what style it is at this point. I just want something that doesnt feel sloppy. Please send me some websites or companies that sell good ones for this shifter. Thanks

I have the B&M shifter in my car. I installed a few different aftermarket shifters and was not happy with the overall feel. I installed the C6 Z06 shifter and I'm SOLD ! I love the feel, and it looks stock too...
I got mine at gscreations dot com. This is the only place that I know of that sells this shifter designed to fit on the C5 shifter's (screw on type). This company modifies them to work. I'm glad someone did it !

I've always liked the feeling of a plain ball in my hand.

Yah, I said it.

I can't get the search function this forum to find anything on it. I know it was something that someone here sold years ago. Maybe the posts on it are older than I'm allowed to search ?

Do a search in Google for "Antivenom Shift Mod" and you will find a topic discussion from the other forum.

For me it really helped take the "notchy" feel out of my shifting. I really like it (especially with the short B&M shifter).

All it is is just a bolt that you change out on the outer casing of your transmission. Really easy to do (10 mins). I don't remember all the details. Maybe someone that remembers more can chime in.

Maybe start a new post asking if anyone remembers the details on it and where to get it. It was cheap around $40 I think. Someone made a killing on selling them because it was just a bolt, but it was a good idea for sure

Yeah, I tried to search for a link for you. But the forum search function wasn't working. It was down last night for maintenance.
