Default Oil Change = Check engine light???

Changed the oil and filter. Mobil 1 , 6.5 quarts, Mobil 1 extended life filter. No leaks, good oil pressure...next day check engine light.
Nothing appears wrong. Any ideas?

The check engine light is unrelated to the oil change. You need to pull the code.

Did you remember to reset the oil life monitor to 100%?

Sort of. But just about any time you get a check engine light, you can think of something that was slightly unusual or different about the car in the previous few days. The thing is, there is pretty much nothing about a correctly done oil change that could possibly cause a check engine light enless you did something to the car you are not telling us or are unaware you did. Just pull the code and go from there.

I had my oil pressure indicate 80 psi and 130 psi on the DIC after an oil change. Was convinced I did something wrong..nope sending unit failure just timed wrong I guess.

Did you put the drain plug back in?
(could not help myself)

So, what codes did you find?
Oil level sensor?
