Default 2003 or 2004 Z06

Ok besides being a year newer, is there any big difference or
advantage of buying a 2004 over a 2003 Z06?

The 2004's I believe have a smoother ride from revised shocks. I have a 2003 Z myself. Although almost all years are the same but I prefer seeing the 50th Anniversary when I look at it. It looks like something is missing from the vette symbol with the other years But thats just me

Edit: Someone beat me to it.

The 2004 has revalved shocks. Not sure about the front but rear shocks for sure. Also, my understanding was the 2004 shocks were valved stiffer than 2003. I may be wrong.

I was under the impression that the 2002-2004 z06's (sans 50th anniversary version) were all the same?

The 50th Anniversary car is special to a Corvette lover! A Z06 50th is a bonus

It's a minor thing, but I also like the "badging" of the '03.

They changed to steel shift forks mid way through the 03 production run.

I think that they might have changed to the steel shift forks even in late production 2003 models. That's what I heard but maybe someone can confirm. I have an early production year 2003 and have had no problems with the forks myself.
