It can take different amounts depending on gap and size of weld... Shouldn't take any more than 2 (1 foot pieces) per weld...

So want to do this sometime to mine. Love the thought of a great sounding Ti system. Not many cars have it and its lighter than any aftermarket system. Would probably have better tips added also....

Did this 2 years ago, well worth the money, one of my favorite mods. The ti exhaust is one of the coolest features of the c5z, can't imagine removing it for another cat back but I get that some want a different sound. I'm still on stock manifolds and it was a noticeable change in sound after the mod, it sounds much sweeter at high rpm between shifts now, more exotic sounding. Have a set of xs power LT's on order now. Can't wait to get them installed.

I am a retired Boilermaker that has welded titanium. The main thing is to have a high frequency DC welder. Also you need to purge on the inside with the same inert gas used for gas coverage at the weld. If you have those things the welding is not much different from tig welding stainless steel.
