Burger Day car show
El Reno Oklahoma had the annual Onion fried burger day yesterday. It rained for the first hour but turned out to be a very nice day. Here are a few pics.

El Reno is my hometown and I have family that still lives there. Been to many a Burger Day beginning back in the early 90s when my kids were small. Missed it this year.
I always loved the variety of cars in the show and always saw a few of the refurbished 60s/early 70s muscle cars that had never left town. I remember the cars when they were new and tearing up the streets. Back in the day, there was a quarter mile stretch set up just west of town on Route 66 next to the federal reformatory that was the designated drag strip. Once I-40 came in just south of town, Route 66 wasn't much traveled. I had a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T. My brother had a 69 Roadrunner. Man, it was fun.
