BK44 is sold at my local Toyota dealership. I would suspect some other dealers might have it too.

E85 makes more power because it can take more ignition advance. It' ron 100+ like a race fuel. Yes it's less calorific than petrol but if that's your argument then you really should be driving a diesel car.

LOL, you know that Ethanol cleans your fuel system, right?! It's alcohol. That's the primary detergent in fuel additives to begin with.
Ethanol does have some increased solvent properties over gasoline but is not added to gasoline for detergent purposes, it's used to oxygenate the fuel to reduce HC emmisions. I worked at one of the unversities commisioned by the EPA & DOE in the late 70s which led to the certification of ethanol as a fuel additive for the purpose of reducing emmisions.
Common gasoline detergents: polyether amine, polybutene amine, mannich, succinimide.

Can you just run the Seafoam in the tank and get the same benefits without the hassle of also putting it in the brake booster etc.?

I use Redline SL-1 ( about $8) in all my cars every 3rd OCI.Seems to do a good job.

BG44K is good too,but pricey when you can find it.

I was talking about fuel additives, not the fuel. But you saw my point. So that's what matters.

No, I do not see your point nor agree that ethanol is the primary detergent additive in automotive E10 gasoline. Without the detergent package the amount of intake valve and combustion chamber deposits would be unacceptable.

eBay.

I can also tell you I use techron in my fuel on a fairly regular basis every 2-3 months. Always use top tier 1 gas as well.

The bg44 made it run awesome. It's 3 steps, 1 can in gas, I can on fuel rail, one can to clean throttle plates which is very important.

I use Marvel Mystery oil every time i fill up my tank. I own a 2003 Z06. Never had an issue with it. I do have a can of seafoam in the garage that I use on my outboard engine. I might give it a shot in the vette even though Im sure my engines fine I would still like to protect it for the future.
