Well I just sold my 2006 Black on Black murderd out 2LZ zo6. I sold it bc the Fiance and are buying a house and wanted something much cheaper... Turns out the forum member that bought my zo6 had a nice 2002 TR zo6 So well you get the picture! (He bought my car and I bought his) Not a bad downgrade at all

Specs on the car:

-2002
-Torch Red
-42k miles
-Haltech Intake
-Comp Cam 224/230
-SLP Longtubes
-Electric cut-out's
-B&B catback
-After market clutch
-3:90's

Since I got it 2 weeks ago I have changed all fluids, striped the old tint and re-tinted it, lowered it, painted the wheels, got new 315/40/18 NT05R's, and aligned it. Next is new plugs and a new tune! Love the car so far... here are some pics of how it sits now:

I wouldnt call it a "down grade"..... The C5 Z is one hell of an automobile and I think youll find it becomes more part of you than any other Vette has.

Lol we will see..... I have owned 2 c6 zo6's and those cars are incredible. I ran consistant 11.20's-11.40's@125-127mph and that was on 19" Street tires basically stock. I am not dissing the c5 zo6 at all, I love it so far and it is a blast to drive but IMO it still is not close to the c6z in performance, but hey its an OLDER car its not supposed to be as impressive as the newer c6 zo6.

I hate you! I really want to paint/powder my wheels black now. LOL I have chrome wheels so I need to sell those for the stock speedlines and then have those painted/powdered. Are those gloss or satin?

With those mods and the lighter C5Z, your car shouldn't be too far off a C6Z...maybe a retune is definitely in order?

Nice looking car you got there. Black is beautiful, blue is cool, gray is ok, yellow is mellow, white's alright, green is mean, but red will get you head.

Love your new car. I wish mine were red, 'cause it looks so badass with black wheels. I would love a C6Z, but I've got mine so modded, my 325s can't hold it, so maybe now I can just leave well enough alone. GL with your Z.

Old owner said it made 410rwhp last time on the dyno, I will be re-tuning it within the next 2 weeks.

Not sure, had the #1 Corvette dealer in FL align the car.
