Mine is cracked as well and my car only has 22,000 miles on it and gets driven only about 1,500 miles a year and stored in the winter. guess i'm putting this on my list to replace.

Yeah, the guy that owned mine kept it in the garage, and somehow it still cracked. I don't know what stresses these things so much, but they're definitely prone to cracking.

My 01 is not cracked and I bought it in 01. However I did get gasket leaks on the drivers side once while in warranty and was repaired. I just got the leaks again and now having all pieces replaced. Get the car back tomorrow.

Mine were cracked at the same place on both sides when I bought the car 2 yrs ago. I thought that was how they came until reading this thread. Just another thing on the to do list.

Getting ready to do mine. I have the moldings and weather stripping for both sides. Probably going to just have a local shop that works primarily with VETTES and exotics to ensure it is done right. It was pricey and I do not want to jack it up.

My driver side is cracked just like the pic above. Are you part numbers the same as listed on this thread? I want to fix mine as well. Thanks for any input.

In a process of putting mine trim back on on both side had all off them off when I was painting the car ....I Wii be useing that dum dum rope ....seems like the best way to go also I bought some 3M weather striping tape from auto zone its like $12 ..also thinking of useing 3M brand window weld its good stuff it drys fast, I used it to fix the roof it cracked in the corner when u have your trim pieces off you'll know what I talking about if u look in the corner in a mid section of ur roof there is an empty space between the roof and metal frame so I squirted some off that window weld in there I took care of that problem .cleaning and taking the glue or what ever gm used off was pain....mine hands still have black marks on them...ill fallow up later when I put them back on ...
