Changed upper oil pan gasket, now that was a PITA. Found some unusual metal in the oil pan.....CRAP!!!!! Valve seal springs!!!! That can't be good. Pulled one valve cover, more junk in there. After further inspection....found that the valve seals had self destructed and the rocker trunions all scared up. These are all upgrade aftermarket parts with less than 1000 miles on them.

Replaced the valve springs, removed the AIR pump, and replaced spark plugs.
The valves springs needed replaced after 25k miles of hard life against a TSP Magic Stick v4. Also broke one valve spring last year and turns out I broke another and didn't know it. Previously had a set of PRCs but TSP suggested a new set of PACs .660" polished springs (and gave me a great discount)
My friend gave me a hand, he thought it was funny his '03 Viper was pooping vette parts after eating a vette.
After she was all back together it was obvious how worn out the old valve springs were, it felt like I just installed a cam.
