There is no better upgrade for a Corvette than replacing the stock seats... putting in a set of A4s really help you concentrate on driving instead of trying since they hold you snugly in place while driving

I have the same question as another user in that I'm 5'8" and on top of that like to be pretty close to the pedals. Would these seats work?

Are the side supports adjustable or fixed?

Also, how do these seats fit in with the drivers seat memory function? I have an 04 Z

I'm 5'6-5'7" and have no issue with these seats. The side supports are fixed and you will lose the seat memory function

How do these seats fit with a 6ft driver? Do they sit same height as stock seats?

What about thr FX1's? Any photos of those installed? Height compared to stock?

No... the best option for you would be to get the black microsuede or leather.

Actually, let's just price out the A4's only. Not sure I'd want a fixed back after thinking about it.

I'd recommend getting the "tall driver option". I installed a set of the microsuede seats and love the look and feel. You'll stick like glue to the seats. I'm 5' 9" and have a long torso and wish I would have gotten the tall driver option. I only have about an inch clearance with my helmet on. My guess the shaved seats would be pretty close to the stock seat height, about even with the door sills. I'm hoping the seat foam will compress a bit with use so I'll eventually get some more clearance.

The seats are a big improvement over stock.

Another thing you can do is take the seats to a upholstery shop and have them shave the seat cushion base for you.... this is what Corbeau does.

I got mine a few weeks ago and also ordered the Corbeau harnesses and all the bracketry to mount them. I am just waiting on my RSD roll bar to come in tomorrow and then I will install it all together. The seats are beautiful, I got the all leather with the lumbar and hole for the harnesses.

I'm interested more in the LG1's over the A4's. Does corbeau offer any custom options such as red double stitching on the sides and all leather with alcantara/suede centers .

LG1s will NOT fit a C5.. .only the A4s will...

Corvette Owners: Good News! The Corbeau LG1 Seat (Standard Width) will fit the C5 and later Corvette! Please realize that it is necessary to install the seats so that the tilt mechanism is toward the console (inside) of the car, instead of outward as normally installed. With this concession, it will fit perfectly. The Corbeau A4 Seat will also fit all Corvettes (including C4 and earlier.)

NOPE.. it will NOT. We have tried installing 2 sets and it WILL NOT FIT. You can buy a set from me and you'll end up wasting your time because they will not fit. Ask them how many sets they have tried to install into a Vette... I bet you the answer will be ZERO
