Side mirrors painted different color than rest of the car??

I have been considering having my side mirrors on my Quicksilver Z06 painted black.

Has anyone else done this to a silver car? Any pics would be appreciated.

I've thought about that also. You can buy black stretchy covers for them on ebay and sites if you wanted to try it out first.

You may want to try spraying them with PlastiDip...and if you don't like it, just peel it off.
