i have used
- 4 coats of plasti dip matte
- 4 coats of plasti dip gloss finish

Thanks for posting those pics. Ive been on the fence about doing my wheels. Its a blacked out Z, too. I stopped by the plastidip shop and they recommended spraying the wheels on the car because the lug nuts would have a tendency to peel the paint when torqued. Did you have any peeling issues? I too would rather just pull the wheels off then worry about masking everything.

I would recommend pulling wheels of the car.
Make sure that you get your self Spray Trigger its only $9 (day and nigh difference)
For the lug nuts i would NOT re use stock since once you paint them they are gonna be hard to put on and they might be stick ...
I got my self a set form west coast corvette and they come with Wheel Locks

So what about the 2012 grand sport that they sell with black wheels are they labeled as race boys as well and the Lamborghini that sell factory all blacked out lol

Did you put the Plasi Dip Glossifier on already because it doesnt look like it... If I were you I would get Matte Clear, It looks a lot better imo and it prevents the white streak you would get if you drag your finger across the rim....
