Air pressure coming out of fuel tank
So drove from Seattle to Penticton, Canada(6.5hrs) yesterday and when i pulled the gas cap off to fill up air pressure came out for like 15 secs. It seemed excessive and pretty hot. I assume after searching that I have a fuel tank vent issue, but the flat cargo are behind the seat inside the car was very hot too, almost too hot to keep my hand on. Is this all related???
Anything I can do before I drive back down that would help??

Look for a cracked/ripped vacuum hose on the passenger's front side attached to the throttle body. well, I think it's the TB, I might be wrong since it's been a while since I replaced it, but it's there. That tends to rip and in my case it created high pressure on the gas tanks.
