Default Griot's Magic: Get to Detailing Pics!

I never knew how bad my Swirls/Scratches were until another member pointed out to me on this forum. Griots Garage 6" DA Buffer, Meguiars 105 compound, 205 Polish, Pure Carnuba and I now have a Friggen Mirror Finish!

Bottom line, if you have not already done so get yourself one of these high powered buffers and get to work!! You'll be amazed at finished results

I have to setup some time aside to get back into it and detail mine. I have some Megs 205, a PC polisher, and a bunch of pads/polishes/waxes... just need some time to do it.

You'll probably want some 105 to go with that 205. I started on my Z06 last week and the clear coat is hard as a rock. 205, even on orange pads, is going to take you quite a long time if you have significant swirl or minor scratches.

Agreed. The last time I tried I didn't have the best results, took too long! I thought about going with a smaller pad than the 6" I was using.

Either way, great job OP, the car came out amazing!

Yes, clear is def hard as rock however not as "impossible" as some have stated w simple DA and Megs105. Took me a total of 4 days to Cut down all imperfections (swirls and scratches). I made so many damn passes w the 105 and orange pad I lost track.

These pics dnt really show the clarity. Much more dramatic under the night lights.

nice job OP, I've also used Menzerna polishes on mine with excellent results.
