Hope the weather turns out great so you can get the car out. I just might get mine out this weekend. Storming here now but supposed to be sunny on Saturday.

Well maybe it'll really be sunny for you.

Even though it's supposed to get warmer this weekend, there's still plenty of salt left on the roads here. I'm waiting out on a couple of good downpours to wash out the roads before I'll consider taking the 'Vette out.

My problem around here are potholes and things that look like small trenches. Daytime is a bitch but trying to drive at night is way to difficult to see holes in the roads. Mine is staying in the garage for awhile longer.

We just had a good rain and no salt for now in central IL. I just hope over the next few nights they don't spread any more salt and we should be good here.

I haven't washed mine in weeks, it's filthy. But I've only not been able to drive it a week since I bought it. We got a foot of snow once this year, but it was gone in a few days.
Take it out when you can. Enjoy the drive, I always do. We will be getting close to an inch of rain today, not looking forward to that on the way home.

Supposed to rain most of the weekend. Uncovering mine sunday afternoon as well as removing all of the critter deterrents. Will let it run for 20 minutes. Its going in Monday for new ACA headlights and foglights....as long as the roads are dry. After today's rain, the salt will be gone.

Looks to be around the first of May for me. Still a lot of snow on the ground, however, it's supposed to warm up Sunday. I'll wait until the street sweepers have made their rounds and removed all the salt and sand that's accumulated. The other problem other posters have mentioned are the "huge" potholes all over. Gonna have to be real careful when I do put it on the road to avoid all of the potholes as well as the fresh tar in areas that have recently been repaired.
I'm retired and I often wonder what keeps me in Minnesota at all, or at least during the winters. I then come to my senses and realize that it's our kids and grandkids, which we could not move away from.
In the meantime I plan to take the cover off the vert, re-detail and do some minor mods, getting it ready to go.
WE'RE CLOSE!

My Mass corvette is staying asleep for at least one more week, waiting for this weekend's rain to wash away most of the salt n sand on the roads. Just have to wait and see what the weather brings us over the next couple of weeks.
As excited as I am about getting back behind the wheel, opportunities to drive in April are limited anyway, so patience is of the essence here.
Be careful, and hope you beat the rain!

I am kind of forced to get it out this weekend. The place I store it is owned by a landscaping companey and the guy wants to get an early jump on his equipment. Also my Vett is blocking him from getting to his boat that he wants to sand a pain.
