Amsoil Torque-Drive trans fluid WORKS!!!
Hey guys I was haveing some issues with my transmission,it was kind of hard putting it in all gears and would grind when I go to put it in 4th. .
Well I got under the car and drained the transmission oil to replace it with the amsoil Torque-Drive, im not sure what kind of transmission oil the previous owner put in it but when I drained all out it looked really clean so I was haveing some doubt that the amsoil oil would do any help..BOY was I wrong.i filled it up with the amsoil oil and I immediately felt the difference, im talking about a hot knife slicing throw a stick of butter difference. I have so far put about 200 miles on my z and the shifting just gets better and better. I know it's not all in my head because ive used amsoil in my infiniti g35 and couldn't tell any difference at all but this Torque-Drive stuff in my z06 transmission works wonders.
I just wanted to let everyone know that this stuff has worked very well for me and got rid of the notchy feeling and grind so it might help you guys transmission issues as well.
I also changed the diff fluid out while I was at it.
Heres the oil im talking about

Moe,
Thanks for the post! Been using these in my 02 Z06 at the track for longer than I care to remember at this point:
AMSOIL Torque-Drive Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid (Product Code ATD1G)
AMSOIL Severe Gear Extreme Pressure Synthetic 75w90 (Product Code SVGQT)
More than happy to get AMSOIL products for forum members at dealer wholesale pricing, about 25% below retail, via the AMSOIL Preferred Customer Program. Drop me a PM if interested.

Couldn't believe the positive difference Amsoil Torque-Drive ATF makes, a simple change of a tranny fluid and the shifting has become buttery smooth, converted all lubrication fluids to Amsoil now, expensive but worth it imho.

If you get it from C66, its not any more expensive than Mobil 1 motor oil. $8 something a quart. Very worth it!
