Mods that i regret hmmm thus far none. I've always done extensive research on everything that i've bought for my Z. I'm sure if new owners want to be happy with what they buy they should do the same.

Regrets...well I kinda regret going with this spec twin disc clutch. It holds the power, but it's like an on/off switch. I may pull it and go to a mantic

Installed an aluminum flywheel, after 2 months of trying to live with the hunting idle & neutral gear rattle, I replaced it with the stock one.
The other regret was the 234/242/114lsa cam (G5X3). Got real tired of the low rpm/light throttle surge/fishbite due to the 10* overlap. Now I have a 234/242/117+2 cam. The car now drives 10x better, still has stupid bottom end power, and pulls harder mid range to top end due to the earlier exhaust valve opening.
Also got talked into a 275/35/18 & 305/30/19 tire combo. After mounting the tires, I noticed right away that the front tire sidewall was 3/16" taller than the rear tire. So off came the 275/35/18's and on went 265/35/18's.
Finally, was convinced that the cats were robbing power, so after removing them and trying to tune out the smell, and too many head aches, I installed high flow cats.

I regret getting a supercharger... I should have gone the big cubes route instead.. the car has been so much more enjoyable this way.

Luckily I have researched the crap out of parts on here and with folks in person.
So far no disappointments.
Love the CF for that !

3/16"? ... that's really not much. Was it the look, or was the traction control system acting up because the front tires were taller than the rears?

I caught up on time. I almost do the power antenna on my Z06. I realized I never use the radio so I bought the mini. The end.

Well for me. It'd be throwing heads and a Fast 92 on mine. The upgrade was great, but I should've saved the money, b/c it wasn't 8 months later before I did my current motor. A ERL 434 LS7 headed beast!

I regret my stage 3 monster clutch. Wish I had gone with the stage 2 as my FI dreams didn't happen.

I was eyeing them myself, following the thread for a while. Decided to go another direction instead, though (ARH), and will be putting them in within the next month or so.

If I may butt in here, don't forget he's talking about sidewall not diameter. I think. This is the same consideration I made when choosing the 265 for the front. The diameter with the 275 is not greater than the rear, just the visual of more tire past the edge of the rim. Don't forget the inch overall diameter difference to begin with. I think the 275 gives an illusion that the stagger is off front to rear.

Back to OP topic... I've owned my car since new, so I would think I would have made some mistakes in modding it. Honestly... I can't think of any on this car. I got all those mistakes out of the way on my first v8 rwd "sporty" car (5.0 Mustang)... and I made plenty. LOL
Had the LPE TT on the car for 10 years... runs like a top, and is plenty of power for me.
