Default Drag Radials

With the Nitto thread it got me thinking I am going to be needing some rear tires soon with the purchase of new wheels and I really wanna run a drag radial on the back. I have always ran et street radials till I used the new NT05r and fell in love with it. It seems that the 305/35/18 is about the biggest the stock tire and wheel well will fit so I am looking at that size or the original 295 size. I came across these new MT tires.

Has anyone used these? From what I have read quickly is that it's supposed to be the new et street radial but be more street friendly like the NT05r

I use the Mickey thompsons in that exact size. I like them they hook good and they are little taller then the Nittto dr. They fill out the rear wheel well a little better and I feel give it a mean look. They handle well on the street good> the only downside with street drs is they dont last long.

I have 305/35/19 nt05r's and I love them... I did have to remove the brake ducts for them to clear but no other issues, the brake ducts are a joke anyway so it was no big deal for me to remove them... I'm debating doing wide rear fenders and going to 18's in the rear and if I do that I will be using the mickey thompson et street s/s in a 345/35/18 which are nearly identical in overall diameter to the nt05r's that are currently on my car

I have not noticed much of a difference in handling. It's still handle tight in the turns.
