Default Sold the 2001 and miss it!

Only drove it 5k miles in three years of ownership and my daily driver suv was getting up in miles. So I decided I needed a new dd but wanted something quick. Thus I sold the Z06 and bought a 2014 Mustang GT and have the suv for sale. I will say the GT is a nice and quick car, but it's no Z06, but it does make for a much better dd. However I think I will drive it a year and sell it next spring to get another C5Z. Next one will be a 2004 with lower miles in the 20-30k range. I figure I can find one by then in the lower to mid $20s. Anyways I'll check back in from time to time on you guys.

Sounds like a solid plan to me. Good luck brother. We'll be here when you get back.

The Mustang is a great car, and like you said, probably makes a more comfortable daily, however the Z is certainly a lot more fun to drive.

If I opt for a new DD with no back seat and could not quite afford a C7, think I would go for the Camaro SS.
But I would never get rid of my C5 Z06!

The new Stangs are quick and fun for sure, but it's hard to beat the C5Z as a relatively affordable toy.
