Price Feeler 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Z16 CE
Well the time has come to where I think I will sell the 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Z16 CE 105k I had since 2010. It was a local car and I am the 2nd owner It has been sitting in my garage for the last 7 years with big plans over the years to mod it but never done it and it's time to move on. Having a c6 auto for the wife didn't help out as we would jump in that one and any parking lot ventures were limited to my truck. I now want to move on to a c6 auto so for sale or trade it shall be listed in the end of March. I would like some help in a fair market selling price, clean title with 2nd owner, stripes are off, BSM off, Front wheels road rash, the exterior and interior I would rate 8 out of 10 with no rips. I will only be home a few days at a time till the end of March. So as soon as I have time I will pull her out for a bath and take some pics. I can only reply when I am home so there may be a delay in the reply. Thanks in advance. I have a pic before the stripe was remove that I will place up.

I hear you on the stripes & miles, it was suppose to be my future coffin. After I removed the stripes, BSM I was ready to mod more. Got a new ECS 1500 kit to install then sold it two weeks later. Then picked up a new take out ls3 and sold it. Now I just built another ls3 and selling it but this time I am selling the z also so that way I will not think about modding it any more. Thought about letting it sit for another 5-10 years but I am ready to mod one just not this one. I was thinking around $19 and another $500 for a new set of speedline polished z16 wheels if the person wanted them that I have been hanging on to replace once I got new tires. Thanks for your assessment.

Your $19K seems about right to me, for a start anyway. I have a feeling you'll get offers a bit lower (17-18).

My front speed lines were curbed pretty good too when I bought mine. Bought two nice used oem wheels for around $400 iirc. Kept my old ones for DR's.

The new set I have is both the 17 & 18, previous owner lived and worked in the city. Thought about using the 18's all the way around but it still doesn't need tires for the amount of use I do, so they are sitting in boxes just like the z sits in the garage.

They are hard to find and the condition of them would be a concern, a quick search shows the Hood Stripe - GM 10336061 available $200 flebay, the Roof Panel - GM 10336062 available some dealers $300 range and I did not locate the Rear End Panel GM 10336063.

$19K for an 04 105K miler w/o stripes, curbed wheels...? Yeah, GL with that. Great cars, no doubt. Get used to having it around for awhile...

As a compare..I bought an 04 Z16 3 years ago with 42,000 miles and a rebuilt salvage title for $17k. My thought was miles offset title condition and I've modded it to use at the track as well with a 620hp 416.
Recently trashed the engine and tried to sell as is. Best offer was $3k so putting another stroker in and either keeping it or at least going to ask $20k for it...and probably not get it.

Oh I know. The 02 Camarillo that the 416 came out of I burned up at the track. I was offered $1500 from the junkyard less trans and engine. I kept the engine and parted the rest out fetching over $8500.
But what a royal pita always meeting folks and going through the bantering process for parts. Despite the pain in the tush it was worth it when the same junkyard came and snagged what was left of the car for $500 after collecting more coin then I dreamed of for the other stuff.

Ha. I too still have several parts left over from my love affair with 4-5 67-69 camaros. Truth be told if they didn't take $55,000+ to get them where they'd run and handle like this 416 equipped Z16 I'd try one more 69 restore.
But my budget left with the economy in 08 and has never returned.

I have seen nos stripes, the edges are all wrinkled. Years ago I knew a guy who also needed new ones. He end up installing four sets cause they were dried out. If it were myself, I'd hook up with the on site vendor for stripes. I don't have his link, someone will chime I'm sure. Only issue is his stripes don't have the CF in them. The other alternative is to have them painted on.
