How do you explain the double pods on his A-piller? No way someone would put that their if they didn't add boost somehow. Typically that is done to monitor more boost. They make 10lbs on the stock supercharger and the stock gauge only monitors 10lbs.
I'm guessing Pulley and exhaust at a minimum.

Same reason some people would put SS or z28 badges on a base model Camaro, they just like the look of them or like to pretend it's something it's not. You'd probably want to run him from a 5mph roll to really compare the two cars. I would suspect you would still pull on him. These c5z's have very aggressive gearing in 1-3 and as mentioned weigh around 500lbs less. Stock 03-04 Cobras dyno pretty close to a stock 02-04z.
Love this car!!!

A friend of mine put down 400rwhp completely stock on the stock tune. Terminators are awesome cars, I would love to have one. If I had to choose between a second c5z and a terminator I would have a very difficult choice

Last year I sold my 03 Terminator Vert that was putting 528 to the ground. It was ported and polished pulleyed and tuned, 16 lbs of boost. I like the Z06 better but don't under estimate a Terminator with a good driver they are quick!

Yeah, I have a buddy with an 03' Cobra. He had bolt ons, pulley (not sure which one) and tune. Back in the day when I still have my 00' C5 coupe, I had H/C full bolt ons w/3:90 gears. We ran a few times at the drag strip back in 2007 and we were dead even. It was a drivers race at that point.
However, I had 175hp shot of nitrous that put me in the 10's. But when we would run, I wouldn't spray so we could have more even racing for the fun of it. The car was no joke!!! Love the Terminators.
The one I raced yesterday was maroon!! Man, that thing was sweet!!

I have found the best bolt on (in) for my 04 Z16 has been the 525rwhp 416. I've decided that THIS is the mod it should have come from the factory with! (And the C6 shifter, mantic clutch, LT's, elec cutouts, drag radials...)

Stock terminators typically make quite a bit more power than stock c5z's.

I couldnt give up my z for one, but I still think the terminator is one of the baddest cars ford has put out to date.

However, the previous owner of my car showed me a video of him pulling half a dozen cars on a "600rwhp" Terminator.
Most people don't do their cars right. They have heat problems even stock so that peak hp falls off real fast.

In stock form the termis were all over the place hp wise. Most of the engines were over performers and a lot of cars made more power than advertised. A great platform to make a lot of power and retain the daily drivability. On the other side C5z has a bigger displacement engine, lighter, better gearing and more aero.

I had a 03 Cobra. I had originally done a pulley swap on an factory supercharger with Steigmeier porting and a tune an made 485rwhp. I had two pillar pods, one was for fuel pressure an the other for air/fuel ratio. They do make an overlay for the factory boost gauge and a way to calibrate it to read up to 15psi. I then went with a whipple and tune an got 602 rwhp at 14 psi. Problem was the widest wheels were 10.5 inches and the 305 DR still had major traction issues. I saw videos and read about guys with mostly stock C6Z's pulling on whippled Cobras. Parted that sucker back to stock, sold it an bought a C6Z. Now I wanna keep my Z mostly stock an buy a 02-04 C5 an supercharge it.

I raced a terminator from 40'ish, 2nd gear (4 cars or so behind him at the start), by 5th at 155 I was one car ahead. Top of 4th and through 5th I started pullin him hard. We slowed, he asked what power I was making. I was I/H/E 02Z and said approx 380whp, he said "damnit, I always lose to Corvette's...I'm makin 485whp." He said he was buying a C5Z next...lol.

Are you sure it was an 03/04 Cobra and not a 2001 (or 99)? They look exactly the same. 1999/2001 is not supercharged.
