Just got a C5Z anybody recognize it?
Hello everyone. I've been a member here for a few years. I had an 09 c6 but sold it for something bigger. Well I finally was able to get back in a corvette and have always loved C5z. So far I love it. I'm in New Mexico but purchased the car from Florida and had it shipped. I'm hoping someone here may recognize it. It has a cam, full exhaust rpm trans and differential.

Well it's been about two years since I sold my C6. The interior was definitely better in the c6 but not by much and the targa top made a lot of noise. The c5z feels like a race car. Maybe since this car is more modded it definitely feels like it pulls a lot harder from what I remember compared to my c6 (exhaust intake only).

My brother has a 2013 Grand Sport. I've driven his then mine back to back and I'll keep my Z. My SOPT dyno says if they go head to head, it is a driver's race. Both cars are stock. (I do have a C6 shifter and TICK MC) The Z is a little more raw in feel and amenities. Prefer looks of the Z.
Normally I'm a guy who drives a newer version of a vehicle and I have to have it. Didn't happen this time which says a lot. I'm just as excited to drive the Z.

Nice car. I'm usually not a fan of the contrasting stripe on wheels, but that red with the blue just pops. Good job!

I may be the only person in existence that prefers c5 interior versus c6; yes my 427 has nicer interior but that's expensive crap; my buddy's 2lt grand sport is not nicer then my c5z interior with way more miles ;
the c6 wears down quicker it's way cheapish material looking then c5; it's tighter squeeze with passenger ; the hand brake does work lol but it's in the way of everything ;;;
