As far as my own build; no meth, a upgraded FP that came with the A&A kit, and of course the 60cc injectors. My tuner ran out of fuel at 5700 rpms, so we added a Magnaspark BAP, which really works well. Tom Wong built a 427 with the TVS blower, and didn't need the BAP that came with his kit. Forgot to add, no trace of KR, and I'm getting just under 8lbs of boost with the stock 3.8" pulley.
Other than clutch, you dont really need any drivetrain mods. My driveline is stock save for a McLeod RXT and DSS poly couplers and its been fine at ~600whp N/A

Last sentence was in reference to your question to hellbent. I suspect it was a SBE (stock bottom end) LS2 or 3. I dont think a SBE LS1 or 6 would last at that power level

Ran the 1/2 mile at Battle Creek over the weekend. 170.6 was my best run.

Wow that's awesome. Do they offer 1 mile runs too? I'd love to do one of those events some day.

Nope no 1 mile runs. It was a great event though, lots of fun and new to me being a 1/8th and 1/4 mile racer/tuner.

NICE! I was gonna sign up for that, but opted out.. I'm stock SBE with bolt ons so maybe 140mph. lol

Your engine is like my dream build, I love high strung NA V8's!

I can build a 643whp Honda Civic for 4500.00 (well, probably more like 6500 if we're getting truly serious but...) including the car, how far should that mentality go? Cheaper isn't always better, don't you agree?

Well, to your second post ever, the most succinct response would be, DUH. I'd rather have a sexy, black C5, than any boosted up, fart can import. I never said my way was better, just more cost effective, while working with a platform that can, with mods, handle that kind of power, while still retaining it's day to day usability. I can easily add another 50-200 HP, and still not open up the stock block. Appearently, this offends some people who claim to be all that in regards to LS motors, despite their late coming to the party. I don't GAS about race cars, and to others, it's the only thing. Have fun with your Civic.

Novi 2000 on stock LS6 with headers and meth just shy of 600 to the wheels with 6psi and only a BAP. 22K problem free miles. Drives like stock with stock fuel milage, runs stock temps, all that cannot be said for a heavy built motor. Although a built NA motor is nice if you run hard at a track.
