I recently purchased a 2003 z06, and the headliner is in need of repair above the rear window. As this is my first corvette, I am unsure if I am missing a trim piece or not. Could someone tell me if there is supposed to be a piece of plastic trim that runs across the top of the back window to hold the headliner in place?

Yes, there is.
I removed my headliner to provide a tad more clearance for my helmet.

thank u for answering me. Do u have a pic of what it looks like? I'm trying to locate one, but without knowing the proper name, or what it looks like, it's quite a challenge!
