Did you need a tune after the install?

I sent my PCM to Doug at ECS for a mail order tune before I started the LT headers project. So I had it re-installed and ready to go when I finished.

I received my LG long tube headers 2 days ago from CCA for my 2001 Coupe. The package didnt include any instructions but I doing a search i did see alot of information on how to perform the install.

I am going to attempt install them using 2 Jack stands (for rear) and 2 ramps (for front). The product did come with gaskets and O2 extensions. I hope I have everything i need and don't break any bolts .

I did a month ago though as the garage was repairing the transmission leak I had to install the Elite Engineering tunnel plate with the ABS thermal cover

If they didn't provide GM OEM gaskets then go to a GM dealer & get a pair, the aftermarket paper ones are prone to leak

The label on the packet of the gaskets says ACDelco GM# 12617944. So I am assuming it is the GM OEM correct?

Yes.

They are okay.

I prefer Remflex gaskets. They are graphite, and when tightened will fill in imperfections in the heads for a truly smooth seal where a MLS gasket like the factory one will just stay flat.
