Default Loudest exhaust setup for Corvette?

I'm posting this so you guys that are interested in going loud have a better idea of what loud is. This is pretty much the loudest setup for the C5Z that you can do. It's 1 7/8 Longtubes, off-road X-pipe, Borla straight pipes with a big cam. I'm posting this to be informative for those looking for different exhaust sounds. It's not for everyone, mind you... it is LOUD. Surprisingly, there's less drone inside the car now than what I had with the Borla Stingers. At WOT, this thing is deafening to those next to and behind you. Now, on to the videos!

Not for me at all, but at least you have a car that somewhat warrants the volume (Z, cam..). Nothing worse than a loud car that doesn't perform to back up the noise.

So i assume no cats? What does the cat back look like? Is it the type that has no mufflers?

Id like something loud after i do my cat swap...was thinking of removing some.of the baffles in the stock ti mufflers.. like cutting them open and taking out wtv makes sense to me...

Not bad! Another loud setup is BB Bullets, only without the rasp. Here is mine with BB Bullets, no cats, 1 3/4" LG Pro Longtubes, mild blower cam, and 12# of boost.

That's loud but I might have you beat my 2" headers with 3" xpipe with turn downs is pretty damn rowdy.. big cam with a blower. I'll try to post up a video

How did the 2" headers fit? Did it hurt any low end power?

Thanks!

they fit with no issues, I don't have ac so I'm not sure about the lines. Install wasn't too bad considering how big they are. No dyno numbers to back up gains went from Na to a blower. They are ARH

Correct, no cats. It's literally two pipes that go straight over the axle and out the back. Lighter that stock titanium mufflers as well.

Id like to hear it. I ran the car with no axle back for a day or two and it was similar to having cutouts and going open headers. I hated the sound. It was louder at idle for sure but at open throttle this is a bit louder out the back.

the turndown definitely give it tone driving. I had a full straight pipe before and think this is definitely louder. I'll try to post a video up soon, just need a good enough camera
