LOVE my Z, but as of late, she has been a biotch. Its a H/C/I car and used to drive great.Its a Vengence built car by previous owner. It now idle searches and dies frequently coming to a stop or just backing out of the driveway. It never revs up,drops to 500 sometimes it catches it and others not. It seems to be getting worse!Any advise? Thanks

Sounds like a vacuum leak

You are saying it never idles above normal? Just dies? You said it searches. What does that mean specifically?
My ideas.

vacuum leak if idling up and down
otherwise injectors or fuel pressure

That's all I have.

It idles down from 900-1000 to 4-500.sometimes it catches itself and smooths out and others just dies. When it searches, it sounds like a car with an old style roots blower.

Are you near Vengeance? If so, take it by and let them have a quick look. If they built it they will probably be able to fix PDQ.

I'm in Northern KY, so not an option. I tried spraying carb cleaner around the intake and TB,nothing happened.
