I had a mgw in an 02 camaro I tracked hard. Wasn't impressed for $175. Bought a C6 for $65 for the 04 Z06 and felt it was a much better upgrade for me, and a fair amount cheaper.

I had the MGW in my Z-Z16. I had it for sale, bought a C7Z06 and when I was going to swap them a solid buyer appeared. The MGW was getting better and better with time.

I had a Breathless short throw and went back to the stock C5 shifter. Personally I like it. I may go aftermarket later, but for now there is no compelling reason to do so.

i've had stock now MGW and a hurst
stock sucked, hurst was ok mgw just a little better then the hurst but not by much! should mention 2nd gen mgw tho

Be careful. Most everybody here who has changed out their factory shifter has been disappointed, and switched again.
Or, they post later that 1st or reverse doesn't work, or some variation.
