Thats interesting. Never actually heard of an issue with the key's getting stuck in the ignition on these cars. Seen it with the A4 transmission but not a manual.
Are you still able to start and drive the car? Is the key simply not turning far enough to the left to come out, or is the car all the way off and the key just wont pull out?
Also this section doesn't get nearly as much traffic as the tech/general page, you may want to contact an admin and have them move it to another section.
