I am currently going through this as well. Can't decide if i should sell my C5Z for a C6Z or keep mine and supercharge it. Its a 2004 with 107k miles, Honker CAI, LS7 manifolds, cats/h-pipe (CA friendly) and tune. Car is paid for. Biggest fear with supercharging is, like others have mentioned, having to throw more money at fixing and/or reinforcing the rest of the car. If i do get a C6Z it would be one with the head issue addressed. But then i would have a new car note. Decisions, decisions. OP, have you decided what route you are going?
