Help me decide 01 White Z06 or 02 EB Z06!
I love both colors and cars and of course i love the extra 20HP and HUD of the 02 but i can make that up easily with a few bolt ons, etc.
I have a chance on getting a VERY FAIR deal on a FLAWLESS MINT 01 Speedway White Z06/black interior with BRAND NEW oem CHROMMIES and a fair deal on a 02 Z06 EB (no chrommies )and yes love that color also. I LOVE the fact that only 354 01 Speedway white Zs were made and i would have the only one in my area but i think i prefer the EB color a bit more but want to have my fellow Z06 guys here help me decide what car YOU WOULD GO WITH if it WERE YOU making the deal, b/c hearing your OBJECTIVE OPINONS really helps me out b/c i am REALLY ON THE FENCE with this decision.
ALSO, since the 01 SW White Z is much more rare i think it will be the better investment also vs. the EB 02 Z06 when it comes time for me sell it 2 years from now when i am ready to step up to an 07 Z06! LETS here YOUR THOUGHS GUYS and thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

Jim,
I would say the 02 as it is what you seem to suggest you like best. Forget about the rare factor as you can not predict what is going to be sought after in many, many years to come. Buy what you will enjoy now and have fun.

I don't like the EB NEARLY as much as I'd like the white, personally....If you know you'll sell in 2 years, why not just save the $$ & get the cheaper 01 & mod it a bit up to the 02 #'s... Good luck... Nice choice you've got there by the way!

02 EB the way to go
The 02's horsepower difference may make it sought after more. Plus, notoriously less problems on the 02. Get the 02!! (White sportscars are for girls!)

The EBs are a dime a dozen. Go for the white. Nice choice.

If I were you, I'd get the white one. When I bought my SW Z06, there were two on the lot. Same price, same mileage. Torch Red versus Speedway White. I took the white.
Remember all Corvettes used to be white!

Hi MTI -
First of all, I would forget anything about resale and collectibility - unless you do not plan on enjoying your car by driving it.
I think the classic Corvette is a whit car with a red interior.
If they had made white/mod red in 2002, I would likely have bought that combo - very classy and as you note, rare.
I fell in love with EB, and it is still a eye-catching color. It is almost as bad as black to keep clean-looking.
The minimal HP difference will be offset by mods (probably ) so I think you can throw that out.
HUD - I think it is fairly easy to get HUD into a non-hud car if so desired.
Tough choice buddy - but I would lean toward the 01.
best regards -
