Cruise Control Light?
The manual, when talking about the cruise control function, mentions a light on the dash being illuminated while the cruise is on. Then, when the manual covers all the lights on the dash, it never mentions a cruise on light. I've got no light, just the DIC saying "cruise set to xx mph". Does anyone else get a cruise control light and if so, which one is it? Sorry if this has been asked before, I used the search function and couldn't find it.

I really thought it has one, but I'm not sure if I'm confusing it with my Tahoe. I know the Tahoe has one that looks like a round speedometer with a needle pointing one direction. It's really funky looking actually.

It is a brief show on the Driver Information Center.
Problem is you cannot see the turn signals or light signal switches because they aren't illuminated like the rest of the switches in the Corvette. I wish the two stalks were illuminated.

I was wondering the same thing on an all day cruise last Monday. Had the cruise control engaged but saw no light(s) indicating same.
There was only a brief notification in the DIC about it being set for X mph. Wonder if this was an oversight...every other car I've driven has some sort of light.

It's not only inconvenient, it is supposed to be there, according to the manual, to avoid the inadvertent engagement of cruise control. However, the DIC is enought for me, just wanted to make sure my particular car wasn't missing something that the manual says it should have. I have to use the cruise control function because this car travels to effortlessly at 90mph and somehow I don't believe the state police will accept that as an acceptable excuse so safer to set it at 73mph and just enjoy the occasionally burst of speed for "passing purposes only".

I was under the impression there was an indicator light on the instrument panel as well. In the owner's manual I have (page 3-12) it states:
"The cruise symbol on the instrument panel will illuminate when the cruise control is engaged."
It even provides a picture of an icon that looks like a speedo with an arrow pointing at the needle.
It sure would be nice to have this alleged indicator light as a reminder that cruise is engaged.
