Lease vs Smart Buy
Besides lease is in the financers name and smart buy is in your name is their any advantages of either?Payments are almost identical.

In a balloon payment note like the Smart Buy, you purchase the car and pay sales tax on the price of the car. In a lease, you only pay sales tax on you lease payments. If the payments are the same, then GM is making adjustments to the rate or residual value and there isn't much difference to you as the consumer.
