PICS HERE! Traded My Silver Vert For Black, Red Vert I Ordered Months Ago!
OOPS I did it again! 
On Fri, I received a call from the dealer I ordered a Black, Red, Black, Vert, from back in Oct. Oh G-d! I had to go down just to look. I've bashed these guys here on the Forum before for asking WAY over sticker on both Coups and Verts. I went in with the thought that I WANT this car but I don't NEED it. I told 'em so when I walked in the door. Then I saw it!! I NEEDED IT! . It was so beautiful, and of course it was the car I ordered. Black, Red , Black, 1sb, z51, onstar, xm, and power top.
I didn't let them know how badly I ached for this car. Most of you guys know I gave up on the order back in Dec. and bough my Silver Vert on the ground with the help of Ken @ thevettenet.com. I've enjoyed the Silver car for 3 months now, and it still had under 1K miles. I wasn't gonna let them bend me over no matter how badly I wanted this car. It wasn't about the $, just princible. I wanted the Black car @ MSRP, and I wanted to take a minimal hit on the trade. I fugured I was screwed. Bottom line: They offered me the new Black car @ MSRP, and offered me 5K under MSRP on the trade. I started to smile inside 'cause I knew I could make a deal. They were on the right track. Two hours later...Bottom line: MSRP, and 2.5 K under MSRP for the trade. Not bad considering I've enjoyed the Silver Vert for 3 months now. I guess it was because I traded a Vert for a Vert, and they'll just mark my silver car up 5K instead of the Black one.I've had 10 Vettes, and never a Black Vert. I really DID need this car. It's really beautiful, and the Power Top is actually pretty cool. Now for the unveiling!!............

Let me get this straight. You live in Florida and had a convertible since December and put less than a 1000 mile on it. I live in Indiana with all the ice and snow. I've had my convertible since December and have over a 1000 miles on it.

You did well on the pricing.....fairly painless for getting the car you ordered. Essentially 3 mos - would have cost you (3) $850+ payments so it's a wash.
I've heard C6's compared to Viagra, but that one ....... WOW !!!

So.............your silver convertible is the one for sale at Lou Bachrodt with under 2k miles on it............. 
That's got to be some kind of record............2 C6 convertibles already, when most DEALERS have not seen the first one !!!
