Default C6 doesn't have a teather anchor for child seat

My daughter is almost 4, loves riding in the Torvette and I was going to take my son today but the C6 does not have an anchor for the top tether. How hard would this have been to install in the floor behind the passenger seat. We need to train these young Corvette owners as early as possible.

How about a picture of Miss "Torvette" sitting behind the wheel?

If the seat is forward facing, use the bottom two LATCH points and loop the seat belt through the back of the car seat like you would with a non-LATCH car. If the seat is rear facing, use the two LATCH points on the base of the seat.

The visor stickers say kids should ride in the back.

I have to fold my greyhound in half to get him in.

NEVER use a rear facing car seat in a front seat

So put her in the back and use the cargo net. God knows you don't want her rolling around back there.

Here's mine note the frothy deposits of slime ******* his jowls....imagine this crap flapping in the wind and slamming into the inside of your windshield.....yummmmmm

He's my boy though, he'll get one or two token rides in the C6. I may let him ride often though...who knows what could happen when you combine two great chick magnets? A dog and a Vette.......

P.S. you may recognize him from the Pedigree dog food website and TV commercial....he's friggin' famous....whatever

Your vehicle has the LATCH system. There are anchors for the passenger seat.

This system, designed to make installation of child restraints easier, does not use the vehicle's safety belts. Instead, it uses vehicle anchors and child restraint attachments to secure the restraints. Some restraints also use another vehicle anchor to secure a top tether strap. However, your vehicle does not have an anchor for a top tether strap. If the instructions that come with the child restraint say that it must be secured at all three anchors, do not use that child restraint in this vehicle.

Rear facing child seats are ok in a vette, as long as you follow the caution:
Caution: A child in a rear-facing child restraint can be seriously injured or killed if the passenger's airbag inflates. This is because the back of the rear-facing child restraint would be very close to the inflating airbag. Be sure to turn off the airbag before using a rear-facing child restraint in the passenger seat position.

In previous years, only the ZO6 and Vert had the tether anchor.
