Default Information and photo request for coupe hatch

Heres the deal:

my weatherstrip on the hatch at the very top is being pulled down by the hatch when I close it. Dealer installed a new one this morning and 2 more opens and closes of the harch and it is bending as well.

I think the hatch is too far forward and needs to be moved back via the 4 nuts up top.

If someone would be so kind as to post a photo of where the hatch meets the rear end with the hatch closed so I can see how large the gap is I would really appreciate it!

The dealer is ordering another piece of weatherstrip for me, but I would rather adjust the hatch myself if that will take care of the problem.

Hey Harley,

I just measured mine - it's exactly 3/16". I'd post a picture but can't since my allotted space here is full (with just 3 pics) and I haven't yet figured out how to host them elsewhere.

I just adjusted it back to between 1/16 and 1/8 and it isnt grabbing anymore. The power pull down or whatever it is called is grabbing it and pulling it down just fine and i am not rubbing at all. I am hoping that is going to take the problem away.

The weatherstrip just looks horrible because it is getting peeled back and showing all of the adhesive.
