Default insurance quote in NY

Today I called my allstate guy who handles 2 of my cars he quoted me $2200 for my 06 coupe. Then I tried my collector insurance company that covers my classic car, I pay $300 a year for a 40k &0ss Chevelle.
Long story short he qouted me $900 a year full coverage as a second car.The policy is the same as allstates coverage. Anyone else go this route. Its Haggerty in case anyone is interested.Just sharing.

$240.00 for 6 months - USAA. This is the third vehicle on the policy, C-6 is listed as a part time driver (no restrictions).

This is very subjective.. $300 for 6 months is pretty low..
What is the deductable, limits, etc ?

Default ny insurane

I couldnt beleive it when my long term agent said $2200 a year. Im 40 and its a second car. I have a great driving record with no tickets in the last 6 years. Hope my c6 don't change that. I called my classic car insurance man and was quoted $900 for the year. Originally when my wife called our family agent they asked is it a Z06 and she said yes (she's vette ignorant) the quote was $2800.

I am 41 ZERO points my best quote was $1,900.00/year! And listed as a pleasure vehicle with multiple car discount. Maybe time to get more quotes.

I had the same issue with Allstate. They just keep raising rates. Mine was going up $1400 year for no reason. Perfect driving record, 58 years old. I was insurred with the same agent since 1967 and it was time for a change. I got a reference to AAA and got the immediate reduction in my rate. Those good hands are getting cold.

Liberty Mutual $900 per year with a 500 deductable as a 3rd car
age over 55. They did raise my rates about $125 or so when I changed from 98 Vert to 2005 Vert
Desclaimer here They insure all 3 cars and my house

Go to the sponserd "driver Improvment clincs" Its kind of boring but the savings are well worth it+ you can deduct some points you might have picked up.

You are all forgetting to mention that you need to have at least one car under the age of 1974 to qualify. I tried with 2 cars and I did not qualify(2000 and 1992) If I had a 1974 too, then I qualify for collector car insurance
