Default Nav Screen

On two seperate occasions, the Nav screen does not come on at start. The first time, I re-started and it came back on. The last time, Saturday, it would not come on at all. I tried several re-starts and turned the Nav screen on and off a few times, but still had a completely blank screen. If I push "source" and then touch the screen, it will change channels. However, since I can't see what I am touching that does me no good. I believe that it might be due to the cold as both times, the temp was below freezing.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Not sure where you live or if the car was kept outside, but, one very cold morning (overnight 20 degrees) after being parked in a hotel parking lot my nav screen was slow to come on...after about 5 minutes everything was fine.

Was your screen completely blank for five minutes? Or was it just acting up until it warmed up?

I live in St. Louis and the temps were very cold both times. The car is parked in my garage, but it is not insulated and does get cold in there. I suspect that the cold temp is the reason.

Default I have experienced it also

I posted this same question a couple of months ago. I noticed it when it was cold outside. The stereo worked and the buttons worked on the screen, even though I couldn't see them. It has happened to me several times.

I drove all the way to work one time (about 25 minutes) and it still didn't come on. Once I got to the parking lot I turned off the ignition and then turned it back on and it worked.

I have been waiting for it to happen again so I can drive directly to the dealer.

Cheers,
